I wasted in my silence
Amidst sinful screams
Of pain and fornification.

My silence, louder
Than anything else
Drowned out my painful heartbeat.

Smothered glances
Directed to my demise,
The said so addictive, terminal.

I see crushed memories
And words falling like rain.
Forming puddles of lies.

All the butter-smooth lies
Tied, to form a man,
My savior, and destructor.

He made me, for life,
Only to take away the essence
And present it to his other dolls.

Dolls of lifeless empty hope.
With the temporary mirage of devotion
Who will all end up like me.

But I really feel this way right now.

Knew how you bleed inside?

Who laugh AT you, and WITH you
Knew how messed up you were
So they wouldn't be laughing anymore?

I cringe as you spit on me.
And drag yourself out of the door.
Stone drunk.

I hate it when you come home.
Yelling and breaking things.
Deadly dangerous.

I wonder what you will do to me.
The next time you return.
Unceasing paranoia.

I remember when you loved me.
And lovingly caressed my brow.
Aching hurt.

I hear you coming home.
And I wonder if you still loved me.

She dragged her bucket to the well
To get a quart of water.
"Tis to boil our daily porridge,
For my little 'un and daughter."

"Aye but madam,
In there is naught but blood."
"Eh? my good Lord,
Tis but mud!"

"Are you feeling faint, dear miss,
You look none too purty.
TIs but mud, not blood,
The well is simply dirty!"

"Excuse my boldness old one,
But your eyes be failing you.
'Tis blood in the well,
I put it in there too."

"My sweet child,
Yer certainly none too well.
Per'aps ye might be mad,
I can some what tell."

"Aye madam, per'aps I am,
Said the last old one as well.
And now, she's but no where
But at the bottom of the well.

So if I were ye, pardon me
I'd best watch my tongue.
If I'd want to have meals,
For my lil' 'uns."

I see
Manic grins of corrupt faces.
I hear
The serpent's cruel laugh in my head.
I smell
The rusty iron stench of mead.
I taste
The metallic tang of my blood.
I feel
The burning hot, the freezing cold.

But all around me.
The open wounds of my treachery.
Burn and bleed freely.
Again, and yet again.
As I hang from the shackles of hell.
